What does innovation mean to Safran and how does it impact your business strategy?

Safran's success has always been based on technical innovation, and we will continue along this path. It is part of our DNA.

How do you encourage and instill a culture of innovation within your organization?

By stimulating a need for innovation through customer demand and competitive pressure, and by shaping our path towards technical excellence.

What is it like to lead one of the world's top 100 most innovative companies?

What matters is how we continue to increase value for all stakeholders. But frankly, we all feel rather proud.

What do you consider to be your most innovative assets?

The shared belief that our products are useful to society, and that we can help make the world a better place. For example, people all over the world want to continue to “go places”, and that will only be possible if we continue to reduce emissions, a very timely challenge as the world's leaders gear up for COP21!
